Foreigners who want to study in Thailand can apply for an education visa through a language school recognised by the Ministry of Education, as most schools teaching languages to foreigners have their courses approved by the Ministry. If you want to study a language and stay in Thailand at the same time, you can contact a language school to enrol and apply for the education visa together.

Education Visa – eligibility criteria

1. The foreigner must hold a Non-Immigrant (Non-ED) visa or already have a Non-Immigrant ED stamp in their passport

2. The school must certify and request that you be allowed to stay or continue studying (the school issues the documents to the student)
