Work permit – frequently asked questions (Q&A)
What is the difference between a work permit and a work visa?
A Non-Immigrant B visa allows you to stay in Thailand to work, while a work permit, issued by the Department of Employment, allows you to actually work. Foreigners need both.
What requirements must the company meet?
Generally the company must have the required registered capital and number of Thai employees in the specified ratio. Our team checks the company documents before you apply.
How long does it take to get a work permit?
It depends on how complete the company's and employee's documents are. Preparing everything from the start makes the process faster.
